Single pressure relief valves for protecting orbital hydraulic motors


SCF hydraulic antishock valves are employed to protect an orbital engine from sudden pressure peaks. They are composed of a steel block where a VMD40S direct acting pressure relief valve has been inserted that controls the pressure on only one connection line, the other is free.

Details

Applications involving the use of orbital hydraulic motors are often subject to sudden increases in pressure caused for example by impacts of the tool connected to the motor shaft, with consequent possible damage to the latter or to the element against which it was verified the impact. Thanks to the Oleoweb SCF antishock valves it is possible to prevent damage caused by too high pressure peaks in the system. The SCFs are single anti-shock valves, they protect the system in only one direction of rotation of the motor. Thanks to the sizing of the flange according to the OMP standard, they can be flanged directly on the motor itself. ensuring a compact assembly with minimum pressure losses. Available with galvanized steel body, in BSPP ½ size, the SCF antishock valve is recommended for applications up to 40 lpm(10,6 gpm) flow rate and 350 bar (5075) maximum working pressure. Zinc / Nickel surface treatment is available upon request to increase the valve's resistance to oxidation.
